Danielle Kleinhans, Ph.D., P.E., F.ACI

President & Chief Executive Officer

In November of 2017, Danielle Kleinhans joined the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI) as its 12th President and Chief Executive Officer. She sets the strategy, serves as a steward for the Institute through future advancements and directs the execution of daily operations.  

With more than a decade of experience in structural engineering and bridge design and consulting, Danielle began at CRSI as a staff structural/bridge engineer in 2011 before assuming the Managing Director role of the Epoxy Interest Group (EIG) in 2015.  

Danielle began her career at Modjeski and Masters, Inc. and has held positions at the National Steel Bridge Alliance (NSBA) and the CTL Group. 

She received her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, and her master’s degree and PhD in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.  She is a licensed professional engineer and a fellow of the American Concrete Institute.
