Build Better Roads:
Concrete Pavement Does The Job

Pavements are designed and constructed to provide a durable and comfortable driving surface for vehicles. Pavement is typically classified into two categories: flexible or rigid. A flexible pavement (typically, asphalt) is multi-layered and thick enough that the wheel loads are distributed through the layers.

A rigid pavement (typically, concrete) acts like a structural slab. Wheel loads are distributed through the entire slab area. Rigid pavements are ideal for heavy-traffic highways and airport pavements.
