Type of Membership

CRSI offers three types of membership; Corporate, Professional and Student.

Corporate membership is for fabricators and producers of reinforcing bar and wire fabric, manufacturers of bar supports and mechanical splices, corrosion protection manufacturers and fabricators, general and concrete contractors, design professionals, placers of reinforcing bar, manufacturers of tie wire, furnishers of reuseable forms, reinforcing bar warehouses and more.

Professional Membership is for engineers, architects, code officials, building inspectors, specifiers, professors and researchers.

Student Membership is for students concentrating on engineering, architecture or construction.

Advantages of Corporate Membership

Market Support: CRSI members are committed to supporting their business and provide resources to develop tools to support and grow the marketplace for reinforced concrete.

Unique Training Resources: CRSI provides corporate members with training resources on topics including detailing, fabrication, shop and field safety and engineering. These resources are developed by world experts and many of these are unavailable to non-members.

Networking: All CRSI members have the opportunity to network with others in their industry. CRSI provides National, Regional and Local venues that that provide companies and individuals to benefit from a network of members within their own geographical area.

Network of Region Managers: CRSI has built a network of full-time Region Managers whose primary responsibility is to be a resource to the design and construction communities, promoting and assisting with the use of reinforced concrete. They conduct presentations and workshops aimed at Architect/Engineering firms, state DOT’s, and other specifiers. Presentations are given to ACI Chapters, state structural engineers associations, and local AIA Chapters as well as to engineering, construction management and architectural schools.

Market Research: CRSI conducts market research within each of its regions to monitor perceptions and to establish programs that are meaningful and educational.

Educational and Engineering Resources: CRSI is dedicated to serving the needs of our members, as well as the needs of architects, engineers and construction professionals, by offering technical publications, design aids, software programs and educational seminars. In addition, CRSI includes a staff of experienced engineering professionals that offer day-to-day technical assistance to those involved in the industry. Our members have priority access to the assistance of these technical experts.

Discounts: CRSI members receive discounts on CRSI publications and Corporate Members have access to the Concord Purchasing program.

Most CRSI regions have chapters and not only meet on a regional level, but often on a local level as well.
